M. Seguy est rédacteur en chef du magazine francophone Direction|PHP (www.directionphp.biz), et du portail technique www.nexen.net. Il publie des statistiques mensuelles sur PHP. Il travaille comme expert PHP et MySQL à Nexen Services, Paris / Montraél, une compagnie d'hébergement et de services spécialisée en Open Source.

M. Seguy est un fondateur de l'AFUP (http://www.afup.org) et co-fondateur de PHP Québec (http://www.phpquebec.com/), qui organisent des conférences reconnues à Paris et Montréal. Il est aussi auteur de 3 livres consacrés à PHP et MySQL, du premier DVD consacré à PHP, et co-auteur de la certification PHP. Il contribue à la traduction française des documentations PHP et MySQL.

Andrei Zmievski is Chief Architect at Outspark Inc, where he is working on a technology platform for building an online playground with free video games and engaging communities. In the past he had worked on internal tools at Yahoo! Inc., specializing in i18n and infrastructure software, such as PHP and Apache. He is also a core PHP developer, leader of the PHP-GTK project, and a co-author of “PHP Developer’s Cookbook” and Smarty templating system. His current focus is the native Unicode and i18n support in PHP.

Marcus Boerger

Marcus Börger is a specialist in C, C++, databases, UML, XML, and of course PHP. To the PHP community, he is also known as helly. As a core developer, he contributes a lot to PHP and focuses on the new OO features of PHP 5 and Zend Engine 2. Marcus has been hacking around on all sorts of things for over 15 years, and being an avid snowboarder, he happily accepted an offer from Google to work in their Zürich office. As part of his job with the Exceptional Performance team at Yahoo! he analyses the impact of various design decisions on web application performance. He also maintains the javascript implementation of strftime used in YUI and plays around with security, accessibility and i18n. He is also the maintainer of several opensource projects including ayttm and libyahoo2.

Clint Oram is one of three co-founders of SugarCRM and co-led the product design and development as well as the customer services team through the first year of business. He is now responsible for managing relations with the Sugar Open Source community, including developer relations and Sugar's community web site properties. Previously, Clint managed SugarCRM's European operations, located in Dublin, Ireland.

Clint's 12 years in enterprise software experience spans product management, professional services and software engineering. Prior to co-founding SugarCRM, Clint worked at E.piphany, Octane Software, Hewlett Packard and PG&E.

Alexander Mette

Alexander 'amette' Mette is a long time member of the TikiWiki community. He has a M.Sc. Degree in Commercial Information Technology and is currently Lead System Administrator at LivingLogic AG, a software service provider with a product range of its own, concentrating on web content management systems.

In the TikiWiki community he has been release manager and is a member of the security squad. Community organization and governance are the major non-technical interests besides coding and server infrastructure.

At his day job Alexander Mette is responsible for the design and maintenance of several server farms, one of them being a completely redundant high-availability setup consisting of Linux web- and application-servers, Oracle Real Application Cluster on Windows, Netscreen firewalls and Foundry loadbalancers.

The lessons learned from such ventures he used in his spare time to design and implement the new virtualized server infrastructure for the TikiWiki community with robustness and scalability in mind.

Owen Byrne has been programming in C++, Perl, PHP and Python for over 20 years for various companies and universities in Canada, and done a variety of other things including a brief stint as a university professor. In 2004 he was co-founder and original developer of digg.com. Currently he is a senior manager at Ottawa-based Travelpod.com, where he is leading a crack team of PHP developers building a large travel-related application set to launch early in 2009. He has 3 university degrees and an ABD from 3 different Canadian universities. He has presented at a variety of conferences, including O'Reilly's Web 2.0 Expo, UIUC's Reflections/Projection, and the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada.

Fabien Potencier

Fabien Potencier is a serial entrepreneur. In 1998, right after graduation, Fabien founded his very first company with a fellow student. The company was a web agency focused on simplicity and Open Source technologies, and was called Sensio. His acute technical knowledge and his endless curiosity won him the confidence of many French big corporate companies. Fabien is the lead developer of the symfony framework. Today, Fabien spends most of his time as Sensio's CEO and as the symfony project leader.
